Connectivism

Mind mapping was an interesting way in gathering my thoughts . I decided to map the model I created, which I will use, as an intrustional desginer, as a base for teaching. I call it the 4 E's of Success. The mind map is the brain's capacity for learning and motivation. The great thing about this model is its so diverse in that there are many resources on the web that support instructional designers with networking so as to assist the population they are trying to help. Networking has truly changed my outlook on learning because of the vast amount of resources and technologies that are out there for the taking. There are many digital tools that promote learning and help the intructional designer prepare for facilitating. One of the tools is the assessment. I have included a few websites in the Evaluation portion of my mind map. Assessments are important as they are a way that an instructional designer can evaluate a person's learning style so he or she can change the instruction if needed. You see, the web, technology, and all digital tools all support the intructional designer. The funny thing is all of this was right under my nose. I use to gain new knowledge when I had a question by way of asking a professional or friend however, the worldwide web with all answers was right at my fingertips. A person could truly be self-taught by way of networking. Please view my mind map of my personal network using my 4 E's of Success, which I hope to utilize as a future instructional designer.
